Powered site 1 – Bush Marron Escape

POWERED CAMP SITE 1 – PS1
Stay at our cool, powered campsite and enjoy our remote, rural, beautiful 250-acre property at the western end of Kangaroo Island!
The surroundings are 5 star, boasting the best of the bush, with distant sea views. The campsite includes power from our shed (10-amp socket), a drop dunny and limited rain water.
This listing, PS2, includes a powered camp site for up to 10 guests and 3 vehicles, located next to the container, with power available from our shed (10 amp sockets). And your pets are welcome to join you at no additional charge! (They must strictly be supervised at all times).
There is a fire pit that you are welcome to use when there are no fire bans.
There is a drop toilet at the back and external lights and an outdoor shower.
Please be advised; the toilet and shower facilities are shared facilities and may be used by other guests camping on site.
From the camp site, make your way down past the dams and go through the shiny gate at the bottom of the hill (please close the gate behind you). Here, you’ll discover 125 acres of untouched Kangaroo Island wilderness with walking trails to explore. Keep an eye out for koalas, kangaroos, wedge-tail eagles, wallabies, large grass trees etc
We also have two small lakes that you can have a picnic by or drop some Marron nets in for a fresh feed. There are weighing scales provided at the shed so you can pay for them. This is on an honesty system- so please do the right thing, as we have already been burnt from the fires. You must contact me if you wish to fish for marron prior to catching any.
There is also a tinny (small boat) on the edge of the lake, with life jackets- please be advised you use this at your own risk.
Please feel free to jump in the lake for a refreshing swim!
